Workshops March 3,4,5, 2010 Wed, Thurs, Fri - TUBAC, Arizona
Contact: Lois Griffel - Lois@loisgriffel.com. Come and paint with me in the historic city of Tubac Arizona and its environs. The southwest flavor, the quaint buildings and ambience of the local color, makes this a very special place. Tubac is renown for its dedication to fine arts and we will be meeting at Aldea de Artisticas, a charming and picturesque art center.

March 22-26, 2010 - DENA WENMOHS
Located in the foothills of the Texas Hill Country, the Wenmohs Ranch is a working cattle ranch that has been in the family for eight generations. It is located in Cypress Mill, Texas, at the foot of the beautiful hill country. There are so many subjects to paint, just on the ranch alone that we hardly have to leave the premises. Come and paint wonderful rolling hills, gorgeous trees, possibly some cows and hopefully, the breathtaking bluebonnet fields of Texas. Participants can stay in wonderful housing on the ranch for convenience. This gives us the opportunity to get up and paint sun rises and sunsets. Contact: Dena Wenmohs, email: dena@wenmohsranch.com, wenmohsranch.com, 830-825-3465.

April 12-16, 2010 - Sarastoa, Florida, The Atelier Sarasota
Contact: Mimmi - mimmi@thesouthernatelier.org or 941-753-7755. If you know Florida, than you know that at its best, it is lush, colorful and filled with fabulous places to paint. Sarasota is all that and more! We will be painting in beautiful state parks filled with trees, flowers, birds, and maybe even an alligator or two. It is one of my favorite places in Florida.

April 21-23, 2010 - Asheville, North Carolina
Contact: Lynn Newhouse tom_lynn@bellsouth.net or 828-669-0823. Asheville, North Carolina is another one of my favorite places to paint. There are wonderful farms, apple orchards, and gorgeous lush landscape for our enjoyment. In addition to painting waterfalls and many other lovely venues, we will have flower gardens and almost too many places from which to chose!

June 6-11, 2010 - Dillman's Bay Resort, The Creative Arts Foundation
Contact: Stephanie, 715 588 3143 or Stephanie@dillmans.com, http://www.dillmans.com. I am honored to have been invited to teach at Dillmans Creative Arts Foundation. Dillman's has been hosting wonderful art workshops for over 30 years. Renowned for its dedication to fine arts , participants can stay in their quaint cabins and enjoy some real peace and quiet. August 8-13, 2010 - Mackinac Island, MI
Contact: Lois for the workshop - Contact: Nisa for room reservations at the Murray Hotel. 1-800 462 2546, mackinac@mich.com. Please confirm workshop with Lois before making reservations at the Murray Hotel with Nisa. If you have never visited Mackiinac Island, you are in for a wonderful treat. The island has absolutely no cars. The two main methods of transportation are bicycles and horse drawn carriages. It is quaint and charming. For painting, there is a seaport, small streets and old homes, lovely parks and hillsides, and wonderful restaurants. It is a painting paradise and a real get away from it all! Participants are invited to stay at the Murray Hotel. We will meet there daily, and enjoy spending time together as a group.

Sept 19-24, 2010 - Falmouth Artist Guild, Falmouth, MA
Contact: Jill Tompkins 508-540-3304 - www.falmouthart.com. Being a ‘New Englander’ for most of my life, I love returning to some of my favorite places. Falmouth, Ma, found on beautiful Cape Cod will not let you down. With its beautiful marshes, stunning ocean views and beaches, fishing boats and endless beauty, there is always too much to paint.. The workshop is held after the heavy tourist season so that we can get out and paint at some breathtaking sites. Falmouth is wonderful and will not disappoint you.

Oct 4 - 8, 2010 - Acadia Workshop Center, Southwest Harbor, Maine
Contact: Gail Ribas 207-244-9742, awcmaine@gmail.com, www.acadiaworkshopcenter.com. We will be painting in Acadia National Park which is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the United States. Maine is a state that I must visit every few years. Acadia has amazing rocky shores and cliffs with breaking waves. The forests and gardens are lovely and the harbors are small and quiet. We will be there during the beautiful fall season so we will have autumn colors to paint as well.

Looking ahead to 2011:
